Riverside leads two talks at annual AWRA conference

November 15, 2016

Riverside is a member of the American Water Resources Association (AWRA), and every year we look forward to participating in their Annual Conference. This year’s conference takes place this week at the Florida Hotel and Conference Center in Orlando, FL. One of our senior water resource engineers, Michael Thiemann, is presenting two times on Wednesday, November 16: Advanced Forecasting for the New York State Canal System – A Collaborative Approach from 10:30am-noon and Rapid, Dynamic, and Real-Time Inundation Mapping for Emergency Management from 1:30-3pm.

AWRA’s Annual Conference is designed for practitioners, policy and decision makers, and academics across all fields in the water resources community to meet and share ideas. This conference has earned its reputation as one of the most topically diverse and inclusive water resources conferences. This year’s technical program includes more than 280 presentations and 30 posters, as well as plenary talks from some of the nation’s leading water resources experts. We look forward to seeing some of you there!
