Riverside is the recipient of a ten-year, multiple award IDIQ contract providing a wide range of technical and scientific support services and capabilities to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).  Primarily focused on the satellite observations of NOAA’s National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS), the contract support includes but is not limited to: satellite and ground systems engineering; integrated observation architecture analysis; atmospheric modeling and algorithm development; mission systems engineering and architecture definition; data management and processing; risk assessment; and observing data and information management systems.

NOAA uses an incredible breadth of observing systems that span from the bottom of the ocean to the surface of the sun, and is responsible not only for observing the entire planet, but also understanding what is observed.
