Riverside is supporting OWP and the Raytheon Team to improve the accuracy and resolution of hydrologic modeling in the Next Gen framework to enhance:
- Model calibration and validation to ensure that NextGen accurately represents hydrologic processes for a given region or watershed.
- Validation to assess the accuracy of the model and to identify areas where improvements are needed.
- Quantification of the Uncertainty to ensure NextGen users understand the limits of confidence that stakeholders have in the results.
