Loveland, Colorado, March 17, 2023 – Riverside Technology, inc., a recognized industry leader in decision support and the design and implementation of integrated scientific and engineering solutions, has been awarded a contract vehicle for the Professional and Technical (ProTech) 2.0 Satellite Domain by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA).
The ProTech 2.0 Satellite Domain award is the first of four Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contracts NOAA will award to provide resources in support of its Line and Staff Offices. The overall objectives of the ProTech program are to:
- Obtain high-quality professional, technical, and scientific services
- Develop an industrial base of partners
- Develop and maintain performance-based contracts
- Contribute to the NOAA mission
The mission and objectives of the primary users of the Satellite Domain are related to satellite and observation activities and the collection, preservation, and dissemination of information and services derived therefrom. The National Environmental Satellite, Data, and Information Service (NESDIS) is dedicated to providing timely access to global environmental data from satellites and other sources to promote, protect, and enhance the Nation’s economy, security, environment, and quality of life. The services provided under the ProTech 2.0 Satellite Domain will support international partnership facilities and sites worldwide.
Riverside has assembled an inclusive ProTech Satellite Team of large systems integrators and small business team members with specialty experience. This diverse mix of Riverside Team capabilities provides NOAA with extensive, comprehensive qualifications within both space and ground segments; modeling and simulation; systems, software, and test engineering; as well as niche expertise focused in areas of marketing and communications, cloud development, artificial intelligence, and various science specific needs to help NOAA achieve their small business goals.
Riverside continues our decades long relationship with NOAA to achieve the ProTech objectives of obtaining high-quality professional and technical services, developing an industrial base of partners, and maintaining performance-based contracts. We look forward to the opportunity to continue to support the NOAA mission areas, and the vision of healthy and resilient societies and their ecosystems.
“Riverside is thrilled to be awarded the next generation of the ProTech Satellite Domain contract. Through this award, Riverside will continue to provide the highest quality science and engineering support to NOAA for the next decade. NOAA provides critical environmental information to the public including timely and life-saving weather forecasting services,” said Brian Ashe, Riverside President, and CEO. “We are honored to be chosen to continue our support of NOAA’s mission and look forward to what lies ahead.”
