What is a studio?

A studio is your dedicated space for a show on Riverside. Each studio has its own recordings, podcast hosting, analytics, and website - so if you run two podcasts, two YouTube channels, or work with two clients, you'd want two separate studios to keep everything organized and independently trackable. Pro gives you 1 studio, Grow gives you 2, Webinar gives you 3, and Business gives you unlimited.

What happens if I go over my monthly separate track download hours?

Separate track downloads (15 hrs on Pro, 20 on Grow, 25 on Webinar) refer to downloading individual audio/video tracks per participant - the studio-quality files. Recording itself is unlimited. If you hit the cap, you can still access your content but won't be able to download new separate tracks until the next billing cycle or if you upgrade.

Can I add more editors without upgrading my plan?

On Pro, Grow, and Webinar, an additional editor seat is available as an add-on. Business is the only plan with collaborative editing and custom roles built in. If your team needs multiple people editing simultaneously, Business is the right fit.

What are AI Credits and which features use them?

AI Credits power select features like AI Translation, AI B-Roll, and Animated Clips. Pro and Grow users start with 20 free credits; Business starts with 60. Once credits are used, you can purchase more. Core AI features like Magic Clips, Magic Audio, and the AI Co-Creator don't require credits.

Do I need the Webinar plan just to run a webinar, or can I get by with Grow?

You need at least the Webinar plan. Grow includes live streaming and multistreaming, but audience registration, Q&A, polls, automated email reminders, HubSpot integration, and webinar analytics are only available on Webinar - making it the better fit for structured, lead-gen webinars.

Should I pay monthly or annually?

Annual billing saves you up to 20% - Pro drops from $29 to $24/month, Grow from $39 to $34, and Webinar from $99 to $79. If you're using Riverside consistently, annual is the better deal. Monthly makes sense if you're seasonal, testing the platform, or have a project-based use case where you only need it for a few months.

When does it make sense to talk to Sales about Business?

Business becomes necessary when you need more than 100 webinar registrants, multiple producers managing a show, SSO, SOC2/ISO27001 compliance, Salesforce integration, or a dedicated CSM. It's built for media teams and B2B companies running production at scale - not just heavy individual creators.
