Zoom & pan effects

Add some movement with zoom and pan effects, now in the Editor. Zoom in, zoom out, or pan across the frame for a classic Ken Burns effect. It works on participant tiles as well as image and video overlays, so even a single-camera recording can feel dynamic. Use motion to hold attention and highlight key moments: a slow zoom lets a stat or quote land, while a fast zoom punches up a reaction, a plot twist, or a "wait, what?" beat.

1. In the Editor, click the overlay or speaker tile you want to animate, then click the Animation icon. From there you can choose In (entry), Out (exit), or Zoom & pan. For speaker tiles, only Zoom & Pan is available.
2. Click Zoom & Pan.
3. On the timeline, drag the start and end points to set when the effect starts and ends. This sets the animation's duration.
4. Click on Start, then set the starting frame: drag the tile on the canvas to position it, and use the slider or type a percent value to set the zoom level.
5. Click on End, then set the finishing frame the same way, adjusting both position and zoom.
6. Use the drop-down to control the easing if you want.
   

The effect plays out as a move from your start frame to your end frame over the duration you set. You can add more than one Zoom & pan on the same tile or overlay, for example, one zooming in followed by another zooming out.
