Add custom branded frames and resize your video in the Studio for sleeker streams and recordings.

New dynamic layouts let you resize and reposition video frames over custom backgrounds, so live streams and guest recordings look fully branded.
The video covers:
00:00 Maybe you want your recordings to look a little bit more like this and by that I mean custom branded really eye-catching and be able to really customize them yourself so that if you're going live or you're recording with guests you get a really cool framing and branding experience. You can now add custom frames and be able to resize your videos that it all looks even sleeker when you're recording in Riverside. So let me show you how I created this and a few more options that you can do yourself to really upgrade that experience for you. I'm in my Riverside studio and you can see that I have this custom background now. I actually made this within Riverside so I didn't have to leave Riverside to do it. I generated images using the AI image generation.
00:40 So I just went right over here to image and video for my home screen and I actually gave it some reference images and asked it to create a bunch of different images for me. So I created two boxes, I created this kind of glowing background that you see. I also created this other option that kind of has a lower third. I generated all of that right within Riverside and then the ones that I liked I just pressed download. So that was my first step but let me show you how to do it when you're in the studio. Okay so I'm here in my studio I'm going to go to the bottom right over here where it says scenes and what I'm going to do is I'm going to add a scene.
01:13 When I add this scene it's going to save it across the studio so that's why I'm creating it here so that when I go into another recording session I'll have it saved for me. And so for this one I'll just have this full screen image and under branding you can see that I added this background. But another really cool thing here is I'm going to press the layout and do this edit frame and now I can resize it drag it around and have it look exactly as I'd like it to look.
01:41 When I'm ready I could just press done or if I want to just go back to the start I can reset the frame this way. So let's do done and then I'm going to name this one full screen. Now let's create another one and for this one I am going to have it be a screen share so if I'm sharing content this is how I want it to look. I'm going to press add scene right here and for this one let's do screen share. I'm going to not choose one for right now so that you can just kind of see this black box but this is where my screen share will be located. For this one maybe I want a different background so I'm going to go over here to brand I'm going to change the background and let's do this one that I created and then again I'm going to press edit frame resize it and just kind of drag it around maybe I want it to be right over here maybe I want it
02:29 to be a little bit bigger and I'm going to press done. The cool part for this too is that if I click over here on a different kind of screen share I can press edit again and I want to preview how to look if I have four people on the screen. Maybe I want to preview how to look if I have three and in that case maybe I want to change up how big or small this is and then press done so that way you get some really customizable frames that's going to look great no matter how you're showing your content so you can really test it and make sure that if you have let's say four people on screen it's still going to look great. Now let's say for this last one I have myself and somebody else on screen with me here so you can see me right now on one side of the screen.
03:11 I'm going to go again to edit and for this one I want to make the background a background that I created for two people again I made that using the AI image generation within Riverside so I'm going to click this one and I want to resize myself let's do this I want to resize myself here and have myself maybe show up in this box and if I had somebody else that's with me and another screen I could have them show up in the box right next to me and so that's how you can really customize these frames to keep your branding and just make really incredible eye catching experiences within your lives and within your guest interviews and this is all for saving scenes across studios so that every time you record you can reuse these scenes
03:57 but if you just want to do this one time maybe for one recording you don't have to particularly save it as a scene what you can do here is I'll X out of these scenes and let's say that I have a screen share I'm just going to press that edit button move it around drag it change the background maybe to this one instead and there that's just not saved across studios for the next time you record it's just for this recording so that's just under layouts and you could just really do it each time so that is new dynamic layouts and this way you can make more room for your designing and your branding so that all of your studios look and feel even more elevated and professional I am really excited about this one I can't wait to see what you all do with it and invite me to your lives I want to see them all in action
