If you are juggling several tools to make one podcast episode, Riverside now lets you import an existing show and host it in the same place you record and edit.
The video covers:
00:00 If you're tired of bouncing between five different tools just to make one podcast episode, yeah, same. So Riverside added something that fixes all of that. You can now import your entire podcast straight into Riverside and host it here. If you don't know what a podcast hosting platform is, it's basically where your episodes live online so that services like Apple, Spotify, and YouTube
00:21 can pull them in. Every podcast needs it and now adding this to Riverside means you can record, edit, and publish all in one place. So no more playing for an extra hosting platform no more downloading files just to re-upload them somewhere else. Let me show you just how easy this is in just a few steps. So I'm logged into my Riverside account and let's jump into the hosting tab. If you've already set up hosting, you'll see an option right here to import an
00:42 existing podcast. Or if your podcast isn't already hosted somewhere, you'll just click create new podcast. Click that and Riverside will ask for one thing, your RSS feed or your podcast name. Paste your RSS feed or type in your podcast name and Riverside will automatically pull in all of your show's metadata, your title, cover art, description, categories, everything.
01:02 You'll get an overview of it all, seeing the description, art, title, and the number of episodes. That way you can be sure that it's your show you're importing. Now Riverside begins importing all your podcast episodes, making sure everything moves perfectly and creates your new RSS feed. Depending on how many episodes you have, this could take anywhere from a few seconds to an hour. But don't worry, you'll get an email the moment it's done. Once your episodes
01:23 are imported, your podcast fully appears right here inside Riverside's hosting. You'll see your show, all your episodes, and you can preview them just like you would in any hosting dashboard. Next, Riverside walks you through setting up your RSS redirect. This is the step that officially tells Apple, Spotify, and every platform that Riverside is now your new hosting provider.
01:43 And don't worry, your listeners won't feel any change at all. After that, just connect your distribution platforms. If you're already on Apple and Spotify, you may just need to enter your existing show URL. And once that's done, any new episodes you publish from Riverside go straight to those platforms automatically. So now your entire workflow lives in one place.
02:01 And once you connect the platforms, Riverside starts tracking your analytics, so you'll see all the analytics from that moment on. So now you can record your episodes in studio quality video and audio, edit with AI powered tools like magic clips, cut the fluff, and remove silences, and then publish straight to Apple, Spotify, and YouTube without ever downloading or uploading a single file. No more switching tools and no more paying for multiple services.
02:25 Just one platform that handles your full production workflow from start to finish. If you want to learn how to optimize your show once it's imported, like generating titles, descriptions, and social posts with co-creator, check out our video right up here. And don't forget to subscribe for more Riverside updates. Thanks for watching. We can't wait to see what you create.
