Publish video to Apple Podcasts

If you host your podcast on Riverside, you can now publish your video straight to Apple Podcasts using Apple's new HLS video podcast experience.

What it means for your audience: they can watch, listen, or read along, and switch between any of those seamlessly, without losing their place. Start listening on a walk, then switch to video at home, right where they left off.

What it means for you: video builds more engagement, a stronger community, and a bigger audience over time. And now you can get your video podcast on Apple, simpler than ever, with one RSS feed, one show page, and unified analytics.

1. Claim your show on Apple Podcasts (if you haven't already).
2. Copy your Feed URL by going to Hosting → Apple Podcasts → Enable video episodes.
3. Click Apple Podcasts Connect.
4. Request HLS video access from Apple — submit your Show ID + Feed URL via their Contact Us form (Topic: HLS Video). Apple's review can take up to 2 weeks.
5. Generate an API key in Apple Podcasts Connect (Account → Keys → +).‍
6. Upload the key back to Riverside and hit Submit.
